The next day we drove a little over an hour to the Historic Gold Town of Barkersville. It was founded by Billy Barker in the mid-1800's. There are characters who do not acknowledge the current year.

Forgot to take a stage coach ride.
Did watch a horse getting new shoes.
Attended the theater.
Saw this beautiful lake on the way home.
Back in town we had our dinner at a great restaurant that had free wifi and a geocache nearby.
