The elevation there was over 11,000' and it was nice and cool. 
The fall foliage for the aspens was a beautiful site. 
Doug & Janet rode with us and we geocached along the way. At one of them there was a trail called Land o' Lakes and a view that was awesome.
When we came down off the mesa we were struck hard by the heat. Went to the town of Delta to see the murals
and we stopped by for a couple of cool ones at the Elk's Lodge. 
The downtown has these pretty gardens along Main St. We rejoined the group back at Clifton at the Starvin Arvin's for dinner.Saturday part of the group went kayaking. We opted out for a day of rest and visiting with Lee & Clay.
Sunday, we moved to the next stop on the fall kayaking circuit. Moab.
