We drove south of our campground for about 30 miles to the confluence of the Columbia (Lake Roosevelt) and the Spokane River. There was a fort 
there from the early days when the Indians and Settler's were clashing.

We toured it. 
Not many buildings left but their was one that had artifacts and videos
about those days.

We found a geocache on this hill 
so we got a great shot of the rivers coming together.

We traveled along the lake/river and it was beautiful.
