We decided to do a loop into Canada from Whitefish. We left the motorhome at the Moose Lodge and crossed into BC at Roosville.
We are on the western side of the Canadian Rockies.
Caching along the way. This one took us to the World's Biggest Truck. Enlarge the picture to see Bob by the center tire. Needless to say there were many spots the cache could be and we never did find it. The owner of the cache doesn't even know where it is any more.
Continuing along the way, we entered Alberta. At Crowsnest Pass we found more beautiful scenery.
In 1904 there was a massive landslide. Frank's Landslide was caused by mining.
A geocache took us to this beautiful waterfalls at Lundbreck. It is an Earthcache so it was take a picture and answer a few questions.
We now are on the eastern side of the Canadian Rockies and it's rolling praire lands and huge wind farms because of the Chinook winds.
We had planned on tenting but T-storms were predicted and since we were ahead of schedule we checked into a Motel 8.
