Monument Valley

We left Cortez and headed for Chinle and along the way we talked about Monument Valley. Bob had never been there so instead of turning south we continued. Along the way we passed Church Rock.

Heading up from Kayenta we passed by some pretty sites.

The first monuments when inside the park are the mittens.

 
 Then there are the totems.

 And twisty trees.
 And more pretty views.
We spent the night in a shopping center at Kayenta.
