This and That

We were in Tucson for a week at the Discovery Rally.  Becky & Lonnie were two sites away.

We met lots of people as at each meal we sat with differnet folks. There were day that we didn't do anything but stay at home and enjoy the airconditioning. From the previous blog you know we did a day trip to Mt. Lemmon.

When the rally was over we moved up the road to Tempe. We stayed at the Elk's Lodge just a mile or so off of the interstate to Cottonwood, our next stop. Jerry & Denise are working at an RV park for the winter and we wanted to visit with them. We went to dinner at BJ's Brewhouse. Great meal and a greater visit.

Our second day we had other friends passing through the area. Linda Wheeler stopped at the Avondale Moose Lodge which is Bob's Lodge. We went over and picked her up and went to lunch. On our way home we stopped at the Freightliner facility to change our appointment next month for service. Our friend Bob & Carolyn Eissle where there for their servicing. Had a brief but great visit with them.

Back at the Elk's we met our neighbor and checked on leaving our rig & car in storage here when we fly home to Ohio. The neighbor said he would even take us to the airport. Life is good.
