We arrived at Buffalo, WY's Lake DeSmit on July 5th. The BIG holiday weekend. Tons of people here and two with very loud generators that ran them 24 hours. We took day trips to get away from the noise & people. Our first one was to Crazy Women Canyon. Approaching the canyon there were these lovely hills.
Crazy Women Creek runs along it.
The flowers were very pretty too.
On the way back we stopped at a view point to see this mountain.
Over looking the lake is the monument & burial site of Father DeSmit.
Lots of these Pronghorns in the area. 512,000 estimated in WY. We couldn't keep up with them. .
