This trail was classified as a 3 but everyone said it was more like a 2.5. We first drove 25 miles south on the main highway. Turned off and lowered the air in the tires to make for a smoother ride. There were 11 jeeps on this run. We followed this new jeep. Notice the back fender!
We were at high elevations with great views.
Could see the smoke from the forest fire.Down we went and the roads got worse.

Had to drive over rocks like this one.
Finally got to Louis Lake for lunch.
No moose sightings in lily ponds.
Ford one more stream before heading home.
