Our very own trail

We decided to go off on our the last day. Bob had never seen Sink's Canyon State Park and now that the fire was out we could go that way. Unfortunately the state park was closed so we didn't get to see the Sink's. It is where a river drops into a hole and comes up 1/4 mile away. It takes over 2 hours to reimerge.

We did see the ravages of the fire. And watched a helicopter bring some firemen back to the ambulance.

Continuing on we went up switchbacks and could see more of the valley.

We continued on thru the forest to Fiddler's Lake
and Lake Louis where we were the other day. This drive was easier but still on dirt roads
The rock shapes are interesting.
We went back to Atlantic City and the other restaurant was open. It's the Merchantile and has been in business over 100 years. It was more like a museum.
