Our next stop was to be Deming but since our plans are always in Jello we stopped at Wilcox.
We have stayed at the Elk's Lodge in the past so that's where we went. They were having dinner "Indian Taco's" so we went in for dinner. There was another rv parked there and Donna met him.
Another small world happening as he was from Watertown, NY near where she grew up.
The next day we did a long trip, 220 miles to Douglas, NM down near the MX border. Why a long trip? It normally is 72 miles but we went thru the Coronado National Forest, then down RT 80 to Douglas. Most of it was on dirt roads.
At Douglas we stopped at Good Way Cafe for lunch.
We enjoyed our food and visiting with Tom & Terese Allen the owner's (father & daughter).
As we were leaving and sitting in the car looking at the map they decided we needed two of their huge cinnamon buns for breakfast. (2 days worth).
The map took us up another dirt road back toward Willcox. We geocached and took a side trip into Rucker Canyon. More pretty scenery.
Glad we didn't see this when caching.

That is a big snake, looks like it's trying to quickly get away from you. I would have shook for an hour after seeing that.
