Moving On Seeing Family and Friends

We left Virginia and headed to Asheville, NC. down this beautiful road.

The roads have been planted with beautiful flowers.

We stayed overnight at the Moose Lodge.

We met our friend, Bobbie Shipplet at a restaurant nearby.

She has gotten off the road and bought a house in Asheville. She will be missed.

Continuing on we went to Harrisburg near Charlotte, NC to Donna's daughter's home.

We went to dinner one day with Tami and Ray but most of the time we ate at their house.

While there the Nascar race was on. Bob wasn't interested in going but he did go to the museum.

 We moved after the holiday weekend to Waynesboro, VA.

Our neighbor's at the Elk's Lodge were Marvin & Carol. We had a nice visit.

While there we headed to the small town of Nellysford to visit with people who we met in ND.

He was ill but we did stop at his gallery. It was closed.

Then it was down the road a bit to the Wild Wolf restaurant for lunch.

 From there we headed to the Blue Ridge Parkway for our drive home.

We came upon the old Dodd Homestead.

The Parkway had some pretty overlooks.

And wildlife.
