Page, Az Continued

Tuesday we toured the LowerAntelope Slot Canyon. It is on Navajo land and in addition to a tour price we pay for a permit to go on Indian land. Our young guide took us in about half way and we wandered the rest of the way. Bob had his big camera, bag and tripod so I was his assistant which allowed us more time.


Wednesday found 5 of us rafting through Glen Canyon for about 4 hours. We were bused from town thru a 2 mile tunnel with a 8% grade that brings us to the foot of the dam and rafted to Lee's Ferry. Since our Grand Canyon rafting trip starts from there on May 4th we wanted to be able to say that we rafted from Lake Powell to Lake Mead.
