Animal Kingdom

We spent the day at Animal Kingdom. Our first adventure was Africa's Kilimanjaro Safari and we saw lots of animals.

We then walked the Pangani Forest Trail and there were more animals, of course.

Onto the Wildlife Express Train where it went to the back lot of the animal compound. It was fascinating to find out that they bring the animals into shelter each night. It takes them 3 hours to do that. They ring bells, sound horns etc and the animals know to head home for a treat. some even get the day off.

We were getting a little warm by now so we headed to Asia and went on the Kali River Rapids. Got almost as wet as we did on our Grand Canyon River trip. It sure felt good. On leaving there we crossed the bridge to watch others doing the ride.
One even had two women sitting under an umbrella.

We walked around a while,
stopped for lunch and then it was time for the parade. The designs were outstanding on the costumes and floats.

We headed to DinoLand and took the Dinosaur ride.

We were tired and all the other things we were going to do had huge long lines so we went home and put up our tired feet.

Wait until you see what our next blog is.
