HAPPY BIRTHDAY Bob.
We went to Epcot for his birthday.
Had a ball for about 10 hours. The first thing we did was Fast Track. It is the GM car ride and since Bob is retired from GM he showed them his pension check and we were invited to their private lounge,
had a coke and got a pass so we went ahead of all those waiting 40 minutes in line. We also lucked out when going to Soaring. There was a 90 minute wait and someone came up to us and handed us 2 fast track passes and we only had to wait about 15 minutes. Everywhere we went staff said "Happy Birthday" to him as he got a button from customer relations and Goofy even sang him a song over the telephone where we purchased the tickets.
Our dinner was at the Italian Restaurant in the World Showcase. We ate outside and it wasn't fast food. White table clothes, crystal, wine, the works.
This was the nice couple who took our picture. We don't know their names but we enjoyed meeting them.
We also went to the Herman and the Hermits concert and he was great. The audience was singing along and we had a ball.
Bob took lots of pictures of the many sculptured plants
We stayed to the bitter end and watched the fireworks over the lagoon.

Sounds like another of your exhausting days, but a very special one. Happy Birthday, Bob! I saw Herman's Hermits in concert when I was a teenager. I can't believe they're still doing this! I've managed to retire, why can't they?
Well, happy birthday, Bob! It sounds like you had a great one. I love the pictures of the sculptured plants. I don't remember them. But I DO remember Herman's Hermits!
