Medora-Theodore Roosevelt NP

We arrived early in the morning at Theodore Roosevelt NP South Unit and actually found a large enough campsite for our rig. Got settled in including the internet. The campground was filled within a couple of hours later. Some fulltime SKP's, Howard & Fran, parked next to us for one night.

We went into Medora and got our tickets for the Pitchfork Fondue and Medora Musical. Then found a restaurant. The hostess was seating us and we invited ourselves to sit with a couple next to our table. We were the only ones in the restaurant. They were a young couple, Kevin & Tish, from VA and he is a professional photographer. Now the fun part. They are camped in the site across the street from ours.

Back at camp we picked up our SKP neighbors, Howard & Fran. The four of us went on the loop road. (enlarge and see the prairie dog town)
to see what wild animals we could see.
Buffalo
Elk
Wild horses
Turkey
Deer

Back at camp Kevin & Tish came over for a visit.
