Leadville, Co

After leaving Wheatland we headed to Cheynne. At the Moose Lodge it was Ladies night so we invited "Ladies". Our friends Joanne, Karen & Marylou stopped by for happy hour and dinner. No pics as we forgot the camera. Moving right along we stopped at the Elk's Lodge in Westminster where Ernie & Rellene are camphosting. The happy hour was great as was the prime rib dinner in the lodge.

Early the next morning we headed over to Silverthorn and parked at the Elk's Lodge there. 

The view out the windshield of the mountains was great. And out the dinette window.

After parking we drove the car to Leadville & Vail on a big loop.

On the way home we went to Redcliff.

   The town is just south of this bridge.

Viewed Pango Valley where the army trained in WWII.

And now they fish.

Went by an abandon mine & townsite.

And lots of pretty scenery.
