This and That

We left Parker and went up the road to Lake Havasu City.

We have an RPI membership and since it was still hot we checked into Lake Havasu RV Resort on the north side of town. Out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants nearby. The WIN's would camp near by at Halloween and that's when we first started to go there. Bob got his taxes done while we were there. He has AARP do them at the Senior Center.

On to Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 20. Checked into the Thousand Trails park near Sam's Town. We are here to make arrangements for Bob's Birthday Bash on April 6th. Friends and family are coming from all over.

Bob decided we needed to get a new car. He treated himself to a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. It's in great shape with only 9880 miles on it. Ran back and forth many times to look, do the paper work and get the mirrors moved back to where they can actually be seen by the driver.

When we got to the dealership to pick up the Jeep, Donna spotted this pink one but Bob wouldn't get it for her.

But he sure was smiling when he got his back to the motorhome.

Our Susuzki (the Cheap Jeep) was a great car and took us on many off road adventures. Once Bob adds the steps and teaches Donna how to drive a stick shift again she may even enjoy it.

That's a birthday present that will get good use. Happy (upcoming) Birthday.

Just think. If you had the pink one you could have called it the Titty Mobile and gone 4-wheeling with Bud & Nancy in their Moby Pickle. LOL
