Echo Bay, Boathouse Cove & Jeeping with new friends.

As we arrived at Echo Bay we encountered road work for 4 miles.  Bob drove the jeep & Donna drove the motorhome.
We settled in on the last site toward the lake.
Our views from the site were pretty nice. The restaurant, lodge and marina are all closed now.

We have a herd of wild burro's that come thru the campsite most nights. They even leave a deposit in our fire ring.

The next day we went on a 4 wheel drive.

The cove at last.
On our way out we spotted a herd of 10 Big Horn Sheep. Awesome.
Here are 4 of them.
We also took lots of pictures of the flowers in bloom.

We met 3 other people at the park who have jeeps also and we went on an adventure off roading with Sandy, Ralph and Richard. Way off roading.

Saw a wild horse.
  More Red Rock.
Sandy checking out the end of the road.
Bob checking out a mine to see if he could recoup the money for the jeep. But it wasn't a mine. It was a chicled out cabin.
Back on the main road we stopped to air up the tires. It's suppose to make for a softer ride but Donna still hurt her back with all the bumping and swaying.

Donna learned how to drive the jeep. It came right back to her.
We saw this interesting rv from Germany come by.
And we had happy hour most nights with Sandy & Ralph who are also fulltimers.
