Geyser Pass

It was another HOT day in Moab at 4000' so we headed for the La Sal Mountains again.
When we reached it was cooler.

In fact we encountered snow searching for Geocache #3300.
Afterwards we decided to have our Subs at a beautiful, cool mountain view vista.
On we went heading toward the town of La Sal on the other side of the mountain.
Saw Colorado.
At a certain point the snow got too deep and we almost got stuck. Since we were alone decided to retrace our route.

We did get a little dirty.

Boy, I thought it was hot in Moab in May. I can't imagine being there now. This looked like a nice cool trip, but can you hide in the mountains forever?

This is crazy that there's no snow. Great post though. Seems like a great place to visit!!
