Getting warm and bored down in the valley so we loaded up the Geocache GPS's and took a trip to Prescott. Tried to find one of the Raven's at the library but we didn't have all the information so found a couple of others.
Our friend, Nick Russell had told us of a pretty drive to Skull Valley so off we went. The Raven had a cache called Skull Valley and Beyond so got that one and kept on going.
Donna found a back road Copper Basin Rd which went back to Prescott so off we went. About 8 miles out on a dirt road we came upon this huge home with wind & solar power. No electric lines seen.
But what a view they had.
We came across this memorial, Granite Mountain Hotshots where 19 firefighters lost their lives last year.
We got our #3400 geocache that day and topped it off with linner at the Olive Garden and the drive back thru Jerome to home. Another great day in the life of an rver.
