Heading for Haines

We continued west along the Alcan Highway staying one night at the Walmart in Whitehorse. Since the Frantic Follies hadn't started for the season we continued on until Haines Junction then headed south. The mountain scenery was incredible. We spent another night in a turnout north of Haines.

The next day we crossed the border into

We found a beautiful turnout at the harbor. Spent the day in sunshine watching the
scoter birds and an eagle.

We toured the hammer museum and found a geocache outside.

 Loved this hammer.

A cruise ship came in and the internet all over town when caput.

We took a drive to one of the state parks and saw this totem pole.

This was the lake at the state park.
We thought this rock in the river growing trees was neat.
Back in town we relocated the MH to the old Elk's lodge where Donna stayed in 2005.
