Lin picked us up around 9:30 and the 3 of us set out for a day of touring Savannah.
We took the tour trolley around town.

Back on the trolley to the riverfront. We found a restaurant that had an upstair balcony and had a lovely view of the harbor along with our meal.

Found this wonderful fence with flip flops to go along with our picture of cowboys boots on a fence.
On leaving the island we stopped at Pulaski Fort National Monument and walked around it and saw a film about the fort.

Back at their home we had another visit and pizza dinner. Filled them in on what to see and do on their trip this summer. And planned a kayak trip for the next day.
Thursday we did the kayak trip at Ebenezer Ga. on Ebenezer Creek, a tributary of the Savannah River. We paddled about 5 miles among huge old cypress trees.

Our wild life sitings were one alligator twice, in and out of the water. Blue herron and great white.
After we returned to our respective homes for showers and a change of clothes we met later and drove to Beaufort. Al drove us around the historic old houses,

then checked out the restaurant menu's before driving to Port Royal and then to Barbara Jean's where we had the best crab cake dinner.
Al came and got us this morning. Back at their house we worked with the computers for a while setting Al up with some Yahoo groups and trying to start a blog. We then headed to Hilton Head Island. Lunch at Hudson's on the waterfront of Skull Creek was seafood, what else.

A stop at Shelter Cove to see the boats and stroll around. Then a drive down to Coligny circle and a short stroll on the beach there.
I just HAD to get my feet wet. :)

We then went to Carol and Terry Casey's home in Hilton Head Plantation for wine and cheese and a wonderful visit.

Well, now that you answered all my questions about the locations of your flickr pictures, I'll go back and delete my bad guesses.
Weird, you even had the same doctor.
