Fogo Island

We left Twillingate and headed for Farewell where we left the motorhome parked at the Ferry and took the car over to Fogo Island for the day. It takes about 1/2 hour to drive clear across it to Tilting.
There are many small "outports" or small fishing towns on the Island and we went to all of them. We stopped by a bake shop/cafe for some seafood chowder and honestly the chunks of fish were huge in it. Here are many of the beautiful sights we saw. We also saw the same iceberg we saw in Twillingate. At this rate it will follow us along the eastern coast. We can watch it grow smaller.

Back on the mainland of the Newfoundland Island we drove looking for a place to pull of the highway. Found a turnout and had dinner before retiring after a long day.
