The Last Days at Quartzsite

Thursday we drove to just south of Lake Havasu to see where we will park with the Boomer's for the "Blast". The pyrotechnic convention/show. We then stopped in Parker to see the cars that will be in the race on Saturday.

Interesting Jeep display.

Another beautiful sunrise.

Friday we took a drive down to Yuma to restock our food and medicine supplies. Bob also got more aluminum for a friend who is building his solar system.

On Saturday we arrived very early near Bouse out on the desert to watch the Parker 425 Race. The cars we saw on Saturday went zooming by us just a few feet away.

There was a large crowd at our section of the 140m course.

On the way home we stopped for a geocashe at this "Crazy Tree".
We didn't find it so will have to return.

Relocated 64 miles north to "the steps" for the Winter Blast at Lake Havasu City
