The GJ rally

We came into the fairgrounds in Yuma early Sunday morning in pouring rain. We parked the rv and Bob dressed up in rain gear and put garbage bags on his feet for boots. He was part of the parking crew. They were out in the pouring rain from 8:30 until 5pm parking hundreds of rv's. There was wind and even sleet with it. I was inside a huge metal building and helped registered the attendees and vendors. During my lunch break I set up the rv. We are on a slant so I even had to place boards under the one side. Bob forgot I used to have my own MH and knew how. We came home and quickly warmed leftovers and crashed for the rest of the night.

A repeat performance minus the rain was our agenda for the next day. At 3 was Nick and Terry's welcome followed by introduction of vendors.
Registration was again rushed with last minute details. We then came home and went out to dinner at Logan's. Their ads on TV looked good and it was two dinners for $14.99. The evening concert was David Bradley, a yodeler and country singer. Very good.

I worked several hours at the gate for those coming in just for the day. It was very windy and cold. I managed to get sick with either a cold or allergies from all the dust. Sore throat and loss of my voice. Was that a bad thing?

We both attended seminars, made the rounds of vendors and did our share of purchasing. In the evening there was door prizes and we were runners. There was also entertainment. We were so busy that we didn't have our camera clicking so there is a shortage of pictures.

Friday we all move on. We are going back to the VFW for an overnight before heading off toward Texas with a couple of more WIN gatherings before we leave Arizona.

Boy that rally has the worst luck with rain! Hope you're feeling better.
