Last Day at Big Bend

We went for a hike Saturday morning. A short one of only 1.8 miles called the Basin Loop. Along the way we had great views of the "Window". Donna's big toe is hurting from the downhill part of the hikes and the nail is turning bruised.

Back home we decided to take it easy as moving day is tomorrow. We will miss our little patch of paradise here in Big Bend. But we have left a few things undone so we have something to do when we return.

Ara arrived on his bike with "Spirit" his companion. We had a lovely visit with him. So glad we finally connected and hope he gets better from the bronchitis. Check out his blog and beautiful pictures at Oasis of my Soul. The link is on the left.
