Arriving at Bandera

Tuesday morning we said see ya to Donna Dinges and headed for Bandera and the all Singles Dance Rally that starts on Easter Sunday. Along the way we had 8 geocaches to look for. We found 4 and blew past 4 as the parking wasn't good. On arrival we settled in for 16 days with electricity. We have to learn all over again how that works. Some others were here with early arrival and we said HI to them a happy hour gathering.

The next day was a long day. Drove to Kerrville to get Bob's taxes done at the library by the AARP people. Got there at 10:30 but they don't start until 1. So we drove toward San Antonio stopping at Boerne on the way at their library. They start at 2 pm. Continued onto SA and got our new box for the SATV. Returned to Boerne but still to early so went to lunch at a lovely restaurant. The Creek restaurant. Gourmet. Walked around the restaurant. They had this neat sculpture that moved with the wind.

Over to the library...oh, Bob didn't read the sign right. They only do the taxes on Mon & Tues. So back to Kerrville to the library there. While he was getting the taxes done I walked to the Guadalupe River. We had kayaked this when we were here a couple of years ago. HE FINALLY GOT THE TAXES DONE. Hurray. Now it's play time.

Back at the ranch (we are staying at Skyline RANCH RV park) found we have new neighbors. Diana & Phil, Bob & Bobbie. Everyone goes to town for a burn your own. We brought chicken to cook on these huge BBQ's and bought a plate with salad, roll and casserole. The music was great and we danced a few.

We decided on Thursday to attack our to do list. Very boring for you but we are keeping busy.

Great shot of us at the 11th Street Cowboy Bar - one of my favorite places ever!

Have a great time at the dance rally - I know you will. Can't wait to see what you wear for the Mexican theme night.

Just normal everyday clothes. After all how many Mexican's do you see in anything else.
