The next morning Richard & Doreen picked us up and we drove the Historic Rt 30 that heads east toward Cascade Locks.
Along the way we stopped at a viewpoint,
at the Vista House
and several waterfalls.
Once at Cascade Locks we went to the marina park and had lunch on the patio.
We then crossed the Bridge of the Gods and came back west to Portland on WA 14. Back at the Elk's some people we had met at the Rufus camping area were also here.It was a lovely day.

Jim Alcaro writing to find out if you two plan on going to Priest Lake, since you are so close? Leanna and I retired this year and plan on 5th wheeling this Fall and Winter in the South. Bought a 34 foot Big Horn and excited about hitting the road... Also bought a new condo in Coeur d' Alene.
