Coastal Caching

We took a drive along the coast for about 25 miles south of Seaside.

Along the way we geocached. Many where in turnouts so we had a beautiful view at each cache.
Lewis & Clark were even pointing to a cache.
It took us to some interesting places and towns we hadn't explored before.  Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Nahalem and Wheeler.

Haystack rocks.

Other people have a different sport.

Beautiful flowers & trees were in bloom.

On our way back we went a different way through the inland forests on twisty roads.
This cache was on a huge stump with a big tree growing out of the stump. Another area (and cache) was called God's Valley and it was beautiful. Sorry just a "memory picture" of it.

At Manzanita we met the owner of one cache. Across the street was a Pub so had our dinner. Donna met another lady and told her about the sport of geocaching. Think she is hooked.
