Desert and Friends

We met some friends for linner at the Eclectic Cafe. Tony and Karl have a condo here but travel in the summer.

On a walk at the park we spied these cactus in a neighbors yard. At first we thought the ring of flowers were put on the botton cactus but on closer inspection they are real.

 Lloyd came over from his park for breakfast one morning then we had a lovely visit on our patio.
Lloyd has gotten off the road. Sold his Wandrin Wagon and has a park model in East Tucson. He hikes a lot in the area and we quizzed him about Sabino Canyon. After he departed we went to the canyon.
We took the tram to the very far end of the canyon then got off and walked back a couple of miles. The sun was behind clouds, we were at a higher elevation and there was a breeze so while it was hot in the city it was comfortable in the canyon.
