Headed Back to US

We headed back to the border. Crossed into Idaho at Eastport. No problems except we took the wrong turn and had to back up with the car on to get in to the correct lane.

We planned to do it in a couple of days but we did it in one long day.
Didn't want to stay in the casino in downtown Bonner's Ferry.
We pulled into the Elk's Lodge at Hayden, ID. for two nights.
We had stayed here in 2006 with the WIN's.
We met Jim and Leanna Alcaro for lunch.
They guided us in 2006 on a Priest Lake kayak trip.

After lunch we grabbed a geocache just to the left of the fountain.
We then moved onto Moses Lake. It's very hot here so we opted to stay in an RPI Park with full hookups and cranked up the A/C.
We went into town to the Elk's Lodge for Taco Tuesday. We had stayed there on our way to Canada and we were surprised how many people remembered us.

The next day we got in contact with friends from Bend, OR and made arrangements to meet them at the 1000 Trails park there. Lots cooler so we will stay 3 weeks and maybe more.

We went to lunch at the American Legion for Hamburger Wednesday. Hoped to meet up with Felix and Minnie who we met in May but they weren't there.

Elk's Lodge in the evening for Pizza Wednesday.
